And from nature because:
- We curate 'plant powered' ingredients that have transformative, nutrient dense qualities that are easily absorbed so that your skin gets 'fed' the nutrients it needs.
- We employ nutrients that work synergistically with the skin, and are in harmony with nature and our environment. Keeping that in mind, consider that the life-force (aka energy 'prana' or 'qi') of your skin interacts with the life-force of everything applied to it… so unlike most skincare lines where products are essentially dead (because the ingredients and chemicals they contain have no life-force), Graydon products will gently and effectively enliven and awaken you.
- Whenever possible, we choose to source organic plant based ingredients from Canadian growers and manufacturers such as broccoli and berry seeds oil. Outside of Canada, we are also developing partnerships with fair trade farmers in India to source Ayurvedic ingredients such as rosewater. Another one of our favourite food grade ingredients is manuka honey (with bee venom) known for its anti-inflammatory healing ability, sourced from New Zealand.

- Our products contain a plethora of bioactive (having an effect on the skin) ingredients which work to maintain and restore the youthful beauty in your skin. Bursting with omega rich oils, antioxidants, phytosterols, linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid, carotenoids, high levels of both tocotrienols and tocopherols (which are the natural isomers of Vitamin E), flavonoids and a plethora of vitamins and minerals, the ingredients and research within our line offers you unparalleled quality and product functionality.
- Our skin is our largest organ, so it goes without saying that we do not use any mineral oils, chemicals, parabens or sulfates. No artificial dyes or synthetic aromas. We're gluten free, almost all vegan, and organic whenever possible.
- Though nuts have excellent nourishing qualities, we choose not to use nut derived ingredients due to the prevalence of nut related allergies. We do not formally claim this on our labels as we do not (currently) use a certified nut free laboratory to produce our products.
None of these ingredients are common, easy to find (or inexpensive!) but they all lend-a-hand in steeply raising the bar in luxurious, efficacious holistic personal care.
